training confusion
Hi all,
I've been doing a circuit of dumbells for the last 8 weeks and seen some really good results,as well as doing some steady and HIIT running, but I now want to do something different so i don't platue,I'm abit confused as what to do next with all the polymetrics, odd objects, sledgehammers, sledges etc etc.
I'm a bit of a sucker for seeing the friuts of my labour,so I would be gratefull for any advice of what to do next.Time and space are not really on my side.
Cheers

Re: training confusion
Hi,
This is a bit of a big question, but I would suggest if you are doing work with just dumbbells to use single leg exercises as they will be challenging enough with very little weight. Things like pistol squats, single leg deadlifts, bulgarian squats etc will be very tough with only a few kilos (if any weight!) in the hands. For the upper body you can use single arm presses, push-ups, chin-ups, t push-ups etc. For abs, bridges and stabilisation should take priority, with crunches and side bends being used less frequently.
hope that helps, let me know if you need any links to what any of the exercises are.
Alex.
