Inverted rows.
When performing inverted rows as an assistance exercise for chins, what rep range should I be aiming for, and for how many sets?

Depends how many you can do now?
I think 3 sets of 8-12 reps is pretty standard. No reason why you can't play around with numbers, do 5x5, 8x3, 4x6 etc etc. Personally I would always aim for at least 20 reps total. Always try and improve on what you've already done. When you can achieve really high numbers you can add weight.
You could also set yourself a target, say 30 reps and do as many sets as it takes to reach that number.

Rack Chins
You could try these too, without the weight to start with! I just rest my legs on my bench and I really rate them, Chi does them too.
