Lack of motivation

Post  dodgy_damo on Fri 4 Apr 2008 - 20:29

I'm always finding excuses not to train. if it's not my girlfriend, its work, college or just generally being lazy. What are the best ways to motivate yourself?

If you are not training FOR anything, you have no reason to train.

Therefore I would recommend setting some goals, either performance or physique, and working towards them.

Check out the article on goal setting I just posted

dodgy_damo, I was kind of in the same position as you, and I was struggling with motivation for my training. When I got in touch with Alex, the work I did with him clarified my goals to me. It makes things so much easier man; I have achieved so much more with a few simple goals set than before when I was just 'training'.
